Plinth not detecting piece when placed
Scanned the fire / earth element but the app remained on the screen below.
Tried to remove and replace with no change. When I added another element the volcano erupted, and when I removed that piece it returned to the fire / earth screen.
when I pressed slightly on the plinth it responded, but returned to the screen below when I stopped pressing.
(There had been no collapse, so I hadn't forgot to stack a piece)
Eventally removed the pieces in the stack, the countdown began and the game ended with a black screen.
and no way to play again.

We have the same problem although we are unable to get the piece to recognize at all (this is the same for all pieces). We have submitted a ticket and will share any troubleshooting tips we receive. We have fresh batteries in the Plinth and our phones are up to date with the latest Android versions of the app.

There is a similar thread on this topic here: https://sensibleobject.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360016101354-Piece-not-detecting-when-placed-on-the-base
I was able to fix this with a 'shake and smack' technique. Not sure what caused the sensor on the Plinth to get 'stuck' but after a shake followed by a firm tap on the Plinth it started to recognize the pieces again.
