Black screen when game is over

I have an iPad and I was playing and my pieces all fell. The screen went from the game play to black. The sound is still going. If I double click the home button it shows a black screen and when I go back to the game screen is quickly says looking for plinth and then goes back to black.

  Yes have had this on ipad. Music still there but black screen have swipe closed and then te-open to start again.

  Getting this on latest release tried on iPhone 6plus mirrored to Apple TV.
