How do I launch the game and connect to the Plinth?

Firstly, make sure you have a Beasts of Balance game set and have inserted a set of fresh batteries into the Pinth. (Click here for more information on batteries).

Secondly, make sure you've downloaded the Beasts of Balance app to a compatible tablet or smartphone. (Click here for more information on device compatibility).

Next turn-on the Plinth by pressing & releasing the power button on the underside:

The red status LED will begin flashing once every 2 seconds the following pattern:

Now launch the game on your tablet or smartphone. While the game is loading it should automatically detect and connect to your Plinth.

If successful then the game will show the "begin" screen and the status LED on the Plinth will begin flashing twice every 2 seconds:

Make sure to return the Plinth to the upright position before hitting "begin" and starting the game.
