How do I add a piece to the game?

All the physical pieces used in Beasts of Balance are called Artefacts. To add something to the game first choose an Artefact. (It's often best to start with one of the Beast Artefacts as this will add a fabulous creature to the digital world on your connected device):

Now there are 3 steps to follow to add your chosen Artefact to the game:

•  Locate the glyph on the Artefact (and the Plinth)

• Touch the glyphs together

• Place the Artefact on top of the Plinth

Once your Artefact is successfully placed into the tower you'll see its digital effect over on your connected device:

You can now continue and choose other Artefacts to add to the tower. Artefacts can be placed anywhere on the Plinth's circular playing surface including on-top of other Artefacts.

Remember that each Artefact should be added one-by-one and each has its own unique effect within the digital game. Try stacking them in different ways to get the highest scores possible!
