How do trades work?
ÆRTHLINGS FIGS are designed to be traded with other players. Trading FIGS adds new playable characters to your collection, levels up existing ones, earns additional in-game rewards, and unlocks trade LINEAGES. When two players agree to trade their physical FIGS, they will tap-to-scan their toys, then select trade. They exchange and scan their new FIGS in the trade menu, and the game will confirm the trade. Players receive new digital ÆRTHLINGS from a trade, and get to keep their old digital ÆRTHLINGS too.
Players need to spend one trade portal to complete a trade. Trade portals are refreshed every 24 hours, and can also be obtained by scanning new ÆRTHLINGS FIGS.
I traded, but my new ÆRTHLING didn’t show up
Make sure both devices are online and logged into accounts during the trade. If one is disconnected, retry the trade.
Can I trade online?
Remote trades are not supported. Trades require in-person, physical FIG scans. Each owner must scan their FIG to unlock it for trading, then exchange FIGS, scan in the received FIG and confirm the trade to hatch the new ÆRTHLING.
If I trade away my FIG, do I lose the digital ÆRTHLING?
No. You always keep the digital version of every ÆRTHLING you’ve scanned. It is important that the physical FIG stay with its new owner, especially if they intend to trade it again.
What is a digital version of an ÆRTHLING?
The digital version of an ÆRTHLING is the character you see inside the ÆRTHLINGS game. Most digital ÆRTHLINGS are associated with a physical ÆRTHLINGS FIG that was scanned or traded. Some ÆRTHLINGS are “Pure Digital” ÆRTHLINGS, meaning they never came from a physical toy, such as the Lennisaur that all players start with or any ÆRTHLINGS that result from an in-app purchase.
