Quick Help
| Issue | Try This First | That Didn't Work |
|---|---|---|
| Can't scan fig | Check that NFC is enabled in device settings, try scanning different areas (top, screen/front, and edges for iPhone; back for Android), and verify that a free app like NFC Tools can detect the fig | Record the scanning process (screen + scan area) and submit a bug report with attempted troubleshooting |
| World has no Beacon | Screenshot area where Tootie is standing and submit bug report through the app | N/A |
| Challenge Stone did not drop ÆRTEFACT | Check the Challenge Stone area for the ÆRTIFACT (it may have dropped on another valid tile) and verify on the Beacon screen whether it was added to inventory | Screenshot completed Challenge Stone, Beacon screen, and submit bug report through the app |
| Can't unlock CHONK | Confirm world has a Beacon, verify whether Beacon can be upgraded, check for unexplored CHONKS available at current Beacon level, and ensure you have enough Hearts to unlock CHONK | Screenshot Beacon screen, Heart count, and the CHONK to be unlocked then submit a bug report through the app |
| World is blank | If only the galaxy background is visible, take a screenshot of your world and submit a bug report through the app (the menu icon should still be available). This is a previous issue affecting worlds that broke before the fix was released. Unfortunately, the only solution is to reset the world. This will generate a new world but will not affect the player's inventory, collection, ÆRTHLINGS, MUTÆTIONS, etc. | N/A |
| Screen won't rotate to landscape | Ensure screen rotation is unlocked in device settings. Rotate the device in the opposite direction (for example, if you're rotating it to the right, try rotating it to the left instead). | Record a video showing the troubleshooting attempt and submit bug report through the app |
| Scan Chest did not give 1 MP after scanning trade-obtained fig | Go to Collection and record video showing the Species screen of the affected ÆRTHLING (include number unboxed or traded), current MUTÆTION Points for the Species, MUTÆTION screen per ÆRTHLING, and current LINEAGE level and send in-app bug report | N/A |
| No MOONLINGS Spawning | MOONLINGS typically spawn within 15 minutes of continuous gameplay. If none appear, check the ground around your world for loot. This may indicate that MOONLINGS have already been defeated by a stationary ÆRTHLING or lava. Also, check your phone’s available storage, as low storage may affect MOONLING spawning | Record a video and submit a bug report through the app. Use camera to look around your world: pinch to zoom in/out, use one finger to rotate the camera 360°, and use two fingers to move the camera around. Check different areas to see whether MOONLINGS appear. |

ÆRTHLINGS Get Stuck Along the Edge of the World
⬛️ Investigating
Description: Some players have reported that ÆRTHLINGS may become stuck after walking along the edge of the world. Once they reach the edge, they may be unable to move back into the playable area, even after changing the party leader. It is currently unclear whether affected ÆRTHLINGS can be unsummoned while stuck.
Workaround: Raise the tiles along the very edge of the world to create a raised "wall." This can help prevent ÆRTHLINGS from reaching the edge and becoming stuck. Thanks to Bart A.K.A Serpie King for sharing this workaround!
What we're doing: Our team is investigating this issue to determine what causes ÆRTHLINGS to become stuck at the edge of the world and whether there is a reliable way to reproduce or recover from the behavior.
ÆRTHLINGS May Spawn Invisible
⬛️ Investigating
Description: In some cases, an ÆRTHLING may be summoned but fail to appear visually in the world, even though it is present in the player's party. Players may still see visual effects associated with the missing ÆRTHLING, such as Grizz-Grizz's bees, while the ÆRTHLING itself remains invisible.
Workaround: Tapping the affected ÆRTHLING's party portrait or cycling through the party slots may temporarily cause the ÆRTHLING to appear correctly.
What we're doing: Our team is aware of reports of ÆRTHLINGS spawning invisibly and is continuing to monitor the issue. So far, we have not been able to reliably reproduce the behavior, but we will continue investigating.
ÆRTHLINGS Party Behavior
Party Members Jittering
⬛️ Investigating
Description: If an ÆRTHLING's walking path is blocked by the party leader, it may briefly jitter or rapidly change direction while attempting to navigate around the leader. This most commonly occurs when using larger ÆRTHLINGS, such as Drazzle, as they can more easily obstruct the path of other party members. The ÆRTHLINGS usually correct their movement after a moment.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: Our team is investigating this issue to determine the cause of the navigation behavior and identify a fix.
Summoned ÆRTHLINGS Stay Still and Don't Follow Leader Immediately
⬛️ Investigating
Description: After being summoned, some ÆRTHLINGS may remain stationary for an extended period instead of immediately following the party leader. Players have also reported inconsistent party behavior during combat, where nearby ÆRTHLINGS may not engage the same target as the party leader or participate in combat at all, causing them to miss out on rewards for participation.
Workaround: Switching the affected ÆRTHLING into the lead position may temporarily restore normal follow behavior.
What we're doing: Our team is investigating reports of inconsistent party follow and combat behavior to improve how summoned ÆRTHLINGS navigate, stay together, and participate in combat alongside the party leader.
ÆRTHLINGS Spawning as All-White or All-Black
⬜️ Needs More Information
Description: In some cases, ÆRTHLINGS may appear without their proper textures, colors, or visual details after spawning into the world. Instead, they may appear completely white, completely black, or with inverted colors. This is a visual issue only and does not affect the ÆRTHLING's gameplay functionality.
Workaround: Unsummon the affected ÆRTHLING or relaunch the app.
What we're doing: Our team is continuing to investigate this issue. At this time, we have not identified a reliable way to reproduce it, which makes it difficult to determine the root cause. If you experience this issue, please submit a bug report through the app and include any details that may help us reproduce it, such as what you were doing before it occurred, whether it happens consistently, your device storage, and screenshots or a screen recording if possible.
Boulders May Float Over Missing/Invisible Tiles
⬛️ Investigating
Description: In some newly unlocked CHONKS, boulders may appear to float above the ground because some of the terrain tiles underneath them are not generated correctly. In some cases, only part of the terrain beneath a boulder may be present, while in others the supporting tiles may be missing entirely. This is primarily a visual and terrain-generation issue and can make boulders appear suspended above the ground.
Workaround: Increasing your Edit Mode brush size and moving the surrounding terrain tiles may cause the missing tiles underneath the boulder to generate correctly. Try adjusting the terrain around the affected area, including the tiles surrounding the boulder.
What we're doing: Our team has reproduced this issue and created a ticket for a future fix. The issue can be difficult to reproduce consistently, and we are continuing to investigate the terrain generation behavior that causes tiles beneath boulders to be missing.
Invisible Hole Causes ÆRTHLINGS to Get Stuck or Float
⬛️ Investigating
Description: In some cases, a hole or missing tile may appear in the world, causing ÆRTHLINGS to become stuck when they enter the affected area. The affected tile may also cause ÆRTHLINGS to appear as though they are floating above the ground.
Workaround: Players may need to unsummon the affected ÆRTHLING to get it unstuck.
What we're doing: Our team is investigating this issue to determine what causes terrain to appear missing and why ÆRTHLINGS can become stuck or float in the affected area. Additional reports and examples may help us identify a pattern and reproduce the issue.
LINEAGE Chest May Contain Fewer Resources Than Expected After Multiple Level-Ups
⬛️ Investigating
Description: When an ÆRTHLING's LINEAGE gains multiple levels at once, only one LINEAGE Chest is granted, but that chest should contain the combined rewards for all of the LINEAGE levels gained. The expected number of MUTÆTION Points (MP) is being awarded correctly, but the amount of other resources or loot in the chest may not be correctly multiplied to reflect all of the levels gained. For example, if a LINEAGE gains 4 levels at once, the player should receive 1 LINEAGE Chest containing the rewards equivalent to 4 LINEAGE levels, including 4 MUTÆTION Points and the corresponding amount of resources or loot.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround. Players who are concerned about missing LINEAGE Chests may want to avoid collecting large amounts of LXP at once until the issue is resolved.
What we're doing: Our team is investigating why some LINEAGE Chest resources and loot are not being correctly combined when multiple LINEAGE levels are gained at once. The expected MUTÆTION Points are being awarded correctly, and we are working to ensure all other rewards are included at the appropriate amounts. We have also received player feedback suggesting improvements to the LINEAGE Chest opening experience, including giving players the option to open all rewards at once or open them individually.
LXP Bar in Collection Page and LINEAGE Page Don't Match
⬛️ Investigating
Description: In some cases, the LINEAGE progress bar shown on the Collection LINEAGE screen may not match the progress bar shown on an individual ÆRTHLING's LINEAGE screen. This can occur if the player exits the screen before the LINEAGE progress animation has finished updating, causing the two displays to become out of sync. Although the displayed progress may appear inconsistent, the underlying LINEAGE progress is not affected.
Workaround: Allow the LINEAGE progress animation to finish before leaving the screen to help prevent the progress bars from becoming out of sync.
What we're doing: Our team has reproduced this issue and is investigating the cause. The issue is currently in triage while we determine the best approach for a fix.
Mismatched ÆRTHLING Icon and Name
⬛️ Investigating
Description: Some ÆRTHLING screens may display information belonging to a different ÆRTHLING. For example, a Jetti's name may appear underneath a Grizz-Grizz, or an ÆRTHLING's image may be missing altogether while other information from a different ÆRTHLING appears on the screen. Players have reported seeing this behavior on Species-related screens as well as on the Summon screen. The issue appears to be intermittent and may resolve after leaving the screen or restarting the game.
Workaround: Leaving the affected screen or restarting the game may cause the correct ÆRTHLING information to display again.
What we're doing: Our team will be investigating this issue to determine why information from different ÆRTHLINGS can become mixed between screens.
Modern House Preview Icon Doesn't Match Current Level
⬛️ Investigating
Description: When customizing a Shelter using the Modern House style, the preview image in the customization screen may not match the Shelter's current level. For example, the Level 3 Modern House may still display the Level 2 preview image, even though the icon in the variant selection and the actual Shelter placed in the world appear correctly. This is a visual issue only and does not affect the functionality or appearance of the Shelter in the world.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: Our team is investigating this issue and has assigned it to one of our engineers to reproduce the behavior consistently. Once we can reliably reproduce the issue, we'll be able to determine the root cause and work on a fix.
MOONLINGS May Not Take Damage From Lava
⬛️ Investigating
Description: Some players have reported that MOONLINGS may not take damage when standing on or passing through lava, despite lava normally damaging characters. The behavior appears inconsistent.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: Our team has confirmed that this issue can be reproduced and is investigating why lava damage is not consistently applied to MOONLINGS. We are continuing to investigate to determine what causes the inconsistent behavior and identify a fix.
Notification Badge on Profile Icon Won't Clear
⬛️ Investigating
Description: The notification badge displayed on the Profile icon may remain visible after all friend requests have been cleared. In some cases, completely exiting the menus and reopening them will cause the badge to clear, but there are also reports of the badge remaining visible even after doing so. The badge should clear immediately once there are no outstanding friend requests.
Workaround: Exiting the menus completely and reopening them may cause the notification badge to clear. However, this does not work consistently for all players.
What we're doing: This issue has been reported and worked on previously, but it appears to still be occurring. Our team has reopened the ticket and will investigate why the notification badge is not consistently updating after friend requests are cleared.
Performance and Stability
Frame Rate Drops to Unplayable Levels
⬛️ Investigating
Description: Severe frame rate drops that make the game difficult or impossible to play. The slowdown can happen randomly, either immediately after starting the game or after playing for a few minutes, making it difficult to identify a consistent trigger.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: This report has been forwarded to our team for investigation.
Game Freezes at the Summon Screen After Returning to the App
⬛️ Investigating
Description: After returning to the game following a brief exit to the device's home screen, the game may become unresponsive or crash while the player is at the Summon screen. In the reported case, the game had restarted itself after being backgrounded, and the player became stuck after tapping Hornorang and attempting to select two additional ÆRTHLINGS for the party. This prevents the player from successfully selecting their party and continuing into the game.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: This issue has been escalated to our engineering team for investigation. The team will look into what may be causing the game to become unresponsive at the Summon screen after returning from the background.
Game Freezes or Closes Shortly After Entering Edit Mode
⬛️ Investigating
Description: Some players have reported that the game freezes or closes a few seconds after entering Edit Mode. While the issue may initially appear to occur after moving the cursor over certain tiles, such as water, additional reports suggest that it can happen anywhere within Edit Mode after a short period of time. This interrupts building and decorating, forcing players to restart the game before continuing.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: Our team is investigating this issue and is currently working to reproduce it consistently so we can identify the underlying cause and develop a fix.
Game Unexpectedly Closes During Gameplay
⬜️ Needs More Information
Description: Some players have reported that the game unexpectedly closes shortly after launching or during gameplay without warning. In reported cases, the game remains playable for only a short time before closing on its own, interrupting gameplay and requiring the player to relaunch the game.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: Our team is investigating this issue and gathering additional reports to help identify the root cause. If you experience this issue, please submit a bug report through the app and include:
- The date and time the issue occurred (please include your time zone).
- Whether the game displayed any messages before closing (such as a connectivity warning or a message that you were logged in on another device), or if it simply closed without warning.
- What you were doing when the issue occurred, including whether you were playing zoomed in or out and any actions you were performing before the game closed.
Getting Logged Out
⬜️ Needs More Information
Description: Some players may receive a "Logged Out" message after switching to another app or locking their device while the game is running. In some cases, the game may also log the player out, requiring them to sign in again even if they are not logged in on another device.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: Our team is investigating this issue to determine what causes the game to lose its connection or unexpectedly log players out after the app is backgrounded or the device is locked. We're also looking for additional player reports to help narrow down the cause. If you experience this issue, please submit an in-app bug report and include:
- The exact date and time (plus time zone) the issue occurred
- What you were doing immediately before or when it happened, such as minimizing the app, locking your screen, switching to another app, or whether it occurred during normal gameplay (for example, while moving props, defeating MOONLINGS, or performing another in-game action)
Performance Drops When Gathering Materials Consecutively
⬛️ Investigating
Description: Some players may experience increasing lag or reduced frame rates when gathering materials from rocks, trees, fruit, and other resource nodes in quick succession. Each consecutive gathering action appears to add another layer of performance slowdown, causing the game's frame rate to progressively decrease until normal gameplay becomes noticeably less smooth.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: Our team is investigating this issue and has assigned it to one of our engineers to reproduce the behavior consistently. Once we can reliably reproduce the performance degradation, we'll be able to determine the root cause and work on a fix.
Some Props Cannot Be Deleted and May Duplicate Instead
⬛️ Investigating
Description: In some cases, certain props may fail to delete when a player attempts to remove them. Instead, the prop may be duplicated, leaving the original prop in place and creating an additional copy. The issue appears to occur inconsistently and has been reported with different props, including ice. In one reported case, the game crashed while the player was attempting to delete an ice sheet, and the original ice sheet was gone after relaunching, but the duplicate props remained.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround. If the game crashes while attempting to delete a prop, relaunching the game may remove the original prop in some cases, but any duplicate props may remain.
What we're doing: Our team is investigating this issue, but we have not been able to reproduce it, including when testing in the affected player's world on both high-end and low-end devices. We have still created a ticket to track the issue and will continue monitoring for additional reports that may help identify what causes props to duplicate instead of being deleted.
Summoned ÆRTHLINGS May Become Unsynchronized
⬛️ Investigating
Description: In some cases, the party's ÆRTHLING positions and player control may become desynchronized after summoning or switching party members. For example, an ÆRTHLING may appear in one party slot while the player is still controlling a different ÆRTHLING, or the party members may shift positions without player control updating to match. This can make the party appear out of sync and cause unexpected control behavior.
Workaround: Tapping the affected ÆRTHLING's portrait or cycling through the party slots may resynchronize the party positions and player control.
What we're doing: Our team has logged this party synchronization issue for investigation and is working to determine what causes summoned ÆRTHLINGS and their party positions or control state to become out of sync.
Tea or Hot Chocolate May Not Award XP
⬜️ Needs More Information
Description: We received a report that consuming Tea or Hot Chocolate does not always award XP as expected. Internal testing has not reproduced this behavior, and Tea has been observed awarding XP both with and without purple berries in the inventory. As a result, the exact conditions that trigger the issue are still unknown.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: Our team is investigating this to determine whether there is an issue with XP being awarded or with XP being displayed correctly. If you still experience this issue after updating to 1.6.0, please submit a bug report and include a screen recording showing the item being consumed and the XP received, as this will help us identify the conditions needed to reproduce the problem.
Tiles Underneath Statues Cannot Be Lowered Correctly
⬛️ Investigating
Description: Some terrain tiles may not retain the selected visual variant after the game is closed and reopened. Players have reported that tiles customized to the same pattern or appearance may randomly revert to different variants after reloading the game. This has been observed with multiple tile types, including Purple and Snow tiles. The issue may occur after terraforming tiles and then changing their variants, with only some of the affected tiles changing patterns after the game is reloaded.
Workaround: Manually changing the affected tiles back to the desired variant may temporarily correct the appearance. However, the affected tiles may change patterns again after a subsequent reload.
What we're doing: This issue is currently in triage. Our team is reviewing the reports and reproduction steps to determine the cause and work on a fix.
Tile Variants May Change Patterns After Reloading
⬛️ Investigating
Description: When a statue is placed on multiple tiles, the terrain underneath it may not raise and lower together as intended. Instead, after the tiles are raised, players may not be able to lower them and terraforming becomes blocked, preventing the terrain from being returned to its original height. This can make it difficult to modify the landscape beneath large statues and other similar props.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: Our team is aware of this issue and has added it to our backlog for investigation. It will be addressed as development priorities allow.
Trees Spawning in Between Tiles
⬜️ Needs More Information
Description: In rare cases, a tree may spawn between two tiles instead of on a valid tile. When this occurs, players may be unable to interact with the affected terrain normally, preventing them from raising or lowering the tile or removing the tree. In some cases, the tree can still be chopped down but cannot be picked up or deleted.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: Our team is investigating this issue. At this time, we have not been able to reliably reproduce it, as it appears to occur only under very specific conditions. If you encounter this issue, please submit a bug report with screenshots or a screen recording, along with any details about what you were doing before it occurred, to help us identify a reliable way to reproduce it.
Visitor ÆRTHLING Remains in Cube Form
⬛️ Investigating
Description: After encountering a Visitor ÆRTHLING in the world and clearing nearby MOONLINGS, the Visitor ÆRTHLING may remain in its original cube form after being accepted into the player's party. In the reported case, the player was able to move the Visitor ÆRTHLING around, but it did not transform into its ÆRTHLING form and its abilities were unavailable. Switching between party members did not resolve the issue, preventing the player from interacting with the newly accepted ÆRTHLING normally.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: This report has been forwarded to our team for investigation.
A Fix is Coming
ÆRTHLINGS Try to Return to Previous Location When Re-Summoned
🟨 Fix in Progress - changes requested
Description: This issue affects both iOS and Android devices. If an ÆRTHLING has previously been out in the world, either by being assigned to a Shelter or by having been in the player's party before being dismissed, it may attempt to run back to its previous location after being re-summoned using a Summoning Stone. After reaching (or attempting to reach) its previous location, the ÆRTHLING will then return to the player's party.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: Our team has identified this issue and is investigating a fix to ensure re-summoned ÆRTHLINGS immediately follow the player as intended.
Dig Spots Not Respawning
🟪 Ready for QA
Description: In some worlds, dig spots may stop respawning after being excavated, even though they are expected to reappear approximately every two minutes in valid locations within each biome. Players may notice that newly unlocked CHONKS generate dig spots initially, but those dig spots fail to respawn after being dug up.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: Our team has identified the cause of this issue and has completed a fix that also repairs affected worlds where dig spots have stopped respawning due to CHONK streaming. The fix is currently undergoing QA testing and is planned for version 1.6.0 if approved.
Hornorang Boomerang Does Not Explode
🟪 Ready for QA
Description: In some cases, Hornorang's boomerang may be thrown but fail to explode when it reaches its target, and the ability button may remain unavailable (unclickable). Some players have also reported that the boomerang works on the first use but cannot be used again.
Workaround: Relaunching the game may temporarily restore the boomerang's functionality.
What we're doing: Our team has completed a fix for this issue, and it is now ready for QA testing. If the fix passes QA, it will be included in the next game release.
Gathering, Mining, or Digging Resets Movement Controls
🟪 Ready for QA
Description: When a player holds the movement joystick while performing an action such as Gather, Mine, or Dig, the action completes but the joystick loses its current position even though the player is still holding it. The player must then release and press the joystick again before continuing to move. This makes repeated gathering, mining, and digging significantly slower and more tedious compared with previous versions. The attack action does not appear to have this issue and continues to preserve the joystick position as expected.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround. Players must release and re-engage the movement joystick after performing a Gather, Mine, or Dig action.
What we're doing: Our team has confirmed that this is a bug and has marked it as Urgent. The team has worked on a fix, and it's ready for QA. Once it passes QA, the next goal is to include it in the next release.
Stair and Slab Props Do Not Protect Players from Lava Beneath Them
🟨 Fix in Progress - changes requested
Description: When certain stair or slab props are placed directly on top of a lava tile, players will still take burn damage while walking on the prop instead of being protected from the lava beneath it. This behavior has been observed with the following props and their variants: 1×1 Natural Stone Stairs, 1×1 Natural Stone Slab, 2×2 Natural Stone Slab, and 1×1 Stone Brick Stairs.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround.
What we're doing: Additional changes have been requested for the fix during development, and the complete fix will be included in a future game update.
Recent Fixes
Completed Challenge Stone Getting Reset
🟩 Fixed
Description: In some cases, a Challenge Stone that has already been completed and rewarded may turn red again after the challenge area is unloaded and reloaded. Although players receive their rewards and the challenge is successfully completed, the Challenge Stone may continue to appear active and allow interaction, even though starting a new challenge is not possible. This can also prevent players from moving the Challenge Stone as intended.
What the fix looks like: Our team has completed a fix for this issue in 1.6.0. The fix ensures that completed Challenge Stones retain their correct state and no longer appear active or glow when they cannot be interacted with. This will also correct Challenge Stones that are currently stuck in the broken state.
Feeding ÆRTHLINGS Consumes Two Items
🟩 Fixed
Description: When feeding an ÆRTHLING, some food items may be consumed two at a time instead of one.
What the fix looks like: Beginning 1.6.0, only one food item at a time will be consumed when feeding an ÆRTHLING.
Lilibud's Green Thumb MUTÆTION May Award Fewer Magic Seeds Than Expected
🟩 Fixed
Description: SSome players reported that Lilibud's Green Thumb MUTÆTION was awarding significantly fewer Magic Seeds than expected when harvesting plants. Reports suggested that higher Green Thumb levels could occasionally produce fewer Magic Seeds than lower levels, despite having a higher expected drop rate.
What the fix looks like: The issue appears to have been resolved automatically following the v1.6.0 update. The player who originally reported the issue has confirmed that Green Thumb appears to be functioning correctly again. We will continue to monitor for additional reports to confirm that the issue remains resolved.
LINEAGE Points May Not Be Awarded When Leveling an Unsummoned ÆRTHLING
🟩 Fixed
Description: If an ÆRTHLING gains enough XP to level up through feeding while it is not currently summoned into the world, the corresponding LINEAGE may not receive the expected LINEAGE Points (LXP). Players have reported that this most commonly occurs when feeding large quantities of food, such as purple berries, to an ÆRTHLING directly from the Collection screen without summoning it first. ÆRTHLINGS that are summoned into the world before being fed award LXP correctly. Our outmost gratitude goes to Gidzy for the investigative help!
What the fix looks like: Our team has identified and fixed this issue when we rolled out version 1.5.0. LINEAGES should now earn LXP when an ÆRTHLING levels up from the purple berry LINEAGE progression hack. A ticket has been created for retroactive MUTÆTION Points grants for affected players.
Low Memory Warning Appears During Gameplay
🟩 Fixed
Description: Some players received an unexpected Low Memory warning while playing the game.
What the fix looks like: This issue has been fixed and was resolved in v1.5.1. The warning has been removed and will no longer appear during normal gameplay.
LXP Not Granted After Quest Completion
🟩 Fixed
Description: LINEAGE Points (LXP) were reported as not being awarded to an upstream ÆRTHLING's LINEAGE when a downstream ÆRTHLING completed a Quest.
What the fix looks like: Our team attempted to reproduce the reported issue but was unable to reproduce it. Testing confirmed that the system is working as intended according to the game's LINEAGE rules: when a downstream ÆRTHLING completes a qualifying Quest or request, the upstream ÆRTHLING's LINEAGE gains 1 LXP. The LXP should always be awarded to the upstream LINEAGE and is not awarded to the downstream ÆRTHLING that completed the Quest or request.
MUTÆTION Points for Mooquet Not Displaying
🟩 Fixed
Description: Players may not see the correct number of unspent MUTÆTION Points (MP) for their Mooquet, even after earning them through LINEAGE Chests from the purple berry LINEAGE progression hack.
What the fix looks like: Our team has identified and fixed this issue when we rolled out version 1.5.0. Affected players should now have MUTÆTION Points for Mooquet.
Orphaned Houses
🟩 Fixed
Description: ÆRTHLINGS were left without a home after the 1.5.0 update. As a result, players may have noticed missing residents, empty houses, or a reduced number of available Quests.
What the fix looks like: This issue has been fixed and was resolved in v1.5.2. Upon launching the game after updating, the repair process restores unhoused ÆRTHLINGS to available homes. Because the original house assignments could not always be recovered, some ÆRTHLINGS may be assigned to different houses than before. If you already built new Shelters, your ÆRTHLINGS will remain in those homes. Any previously abandoned houses will remain empty, and if you deleted those houses before the fix, they can be placed from your inventory and will be repopulated automatically the next time you launch the game.
Quests Not Spawning
🟩 Fixed
Description: Some players found that new Quests stopped appearing after completing their existing ones, preventing them from earning additional Hearts and slowing progression. This issue was related to the orphaned houses bug, where some ÆRTHLINGS were left without homes after the update. Because the number of available Quests is tied to the number of housed ÆRTHLINGS, affected players received fewer Quests or none at all.
What the fix looks like: This issue has been fixed and was resolved in v1.5.2. Restoring unhoused ÆRTHLINGS to available homes also restores the correct number of Quests, allowing them to respawn normally.
Trade Portals Not Awarded After Helping Visitor ÆRTHLINGS
🟩 Fixed
Description: Some players did not receive the Trade Portals they earned after helping Visitor ÆRTHLINGS. Although the Visitor ÆRTHLING interaction completed successfully, the corresponding Trade Portal was not always credited to the player's account.
What the fix looks like: This issue has been fixed and was resolved in v1.5.1. Trade Portals are now being awarded correctly after helping Visitor ÆRTHLINGS.
Underground ÆRTHLINGS and MOONLINGS
🟩 Fixed
Description: ÆRTHLINGS and MOONLINGS may fall beneath the terrain and become stuck underground, like quicksand! This is more likely to occur in larger worlds or after moving the camera repeatedly across distant areas, especially as CHONKS load and unload. Players may notice characters disappearing from the surface, standing below tiles, or becoming inaccessible. In some cases, terrain and objects may also load more slowly over time, making the issue more noticeable.
What the fix looks like: Our team has already implemented improvements that significantly reduce how often characters become stuck beneath the terrain, and we also worked on a recovery system that periodically checks whether ÆRTHLINGS or MOONLINGS have fallen below the ground and automatically moves them back onto valid terrain. While these improvements won't eliminate every case immediately, they should make the issue much less common, and we'll continue refining this behavior in future updates.
Walls & Props Disappearing and Reappearing
🟩 Fixed
Description: Some walls, decorations, and furniture may disappear when the player or an ÆRTHLING moves close to them, then reappear when moving farther away. Players have reported this behavior with collection badges, paintings, tea sets, and other decorative props placed on or near walls. The affected CHONK remains loaded the entire time, but the objects may visibly blink in and out, making structures appear incomplete or causing decorations to temporarily vanish. The items are only invisible, and are not permanently "deleted" from the world.
What the fix looks like: Our team has identified and fixed this issue. Walls and props should no longer be disappearing when players move closer to them or rotate their cameras.
World Does Not Render on Google Pixel 10 Devices
🟩 Fixed
Description: This issue affected Google Pixel 10 devices. Players were able to load into the game, summon ÆRTHLINGS, move around, and interact with gameplay elements, but the world itself failed to render, causing all CHONKS to remain invisible. Reinstalling the game or clearing the app's cache and storage did not resolve the issue.
What the fix looks like: This issue has been fixed and was resolved in v1.5.1. We'd like to thank the affected players, especially Catchinashes and BentoKnight, for helping us test multiple experimental builds and providing valuable feedback that allowed us to identify and verify the fix.
XP Value Does Not Update Immediately After Feeding ÆRTHLINGS
🟩 Fixed
Description: After feeding an ÆRTHLING, the numerical XP value displayed in its stats may not update immediately, even though the XP progress bar correctly reflects the experience gained. This can make it appear as though no XP was awarded until the stats screen is closed and reopened or refreshed.
What the fix looks like: Our team has identified and fixed this issue. The XP value above an ÆRTHLING'S XP bar should now update in real time.
